The Westgarth Social Club is now in its Centenary Year and as well as being the home to many loyal members, great bingo and games nights, a versatile function room - and of course some lovely beer - it is now also becoming a popular hub for music in Middlesbrough.

Not only are we a music venue, we also offer a wide range of other facilities to our members including  snooker tables, darts, widescreen television and bingo, meaning everyone can use our club and find something to do that they enjoy.

As well as holding true to our values as a social club with our members at the heart of what we do, over the last few years we have grown in popularity as a reputable music venue, with several prestigious promoters in the area now working with us and bringing some fantastic live music to the club, including amazing bands such as Other Lives, LAU, The Vaccines, Karine Polwart, Cattle and Cane, Fanfarlo, Stornoway, Dark Dark Dark, Beth Jeans Houghton and the Hooves of Destiny, Dry The River and many many more (Check out the Gigs page of the site for more info!).

Our function rooms are available to hire out for parties too – whether its a birthday, engagement, wedding, christening or other – we can accommodate all types of events! Look to the Venue Hire page on this site for more information.
